Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn was formerly
named as His Royal Highness Prince Vajiralongkorn. His Royal Highness is the
only son of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty the Queen
Sirikit. His Royal Highness was born at Ampornsatharn Hall, Dusit Palace on July
28th 1942. His Majesty the King gave the Royal command to appoint His Royal Highness
Prince Vajiralongkorn to be His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn
on December 28th 1972.
